Conversations that Nobody Cares-square

From the Roman Trajan Square which symbolizes rights and domination, to the Piazza del Campo, Siena, which symbolizes religious activities, then to the large and small municipal and assembly squares in Europe, the word SQUARE points to social activities and open space of traffic activities. Moreover, it also means order and stability.People join activities in these squares and then they may have a belonging to the group. It seems to point to the ultimate place where there is no secret in the city, but in fact it is a place for secrets’ exchange.

This work is a continuation of my graduation project, creating by Google Street View screenshot function. The conversations between people who are on streets are extremely common in Google Street View. Who are they? What are they doing? What are they talking about? What I want to explore is privacy of people in modern social environment, their prying desire, curiosity, and the complex relationship between us.
